Family Classes
Create meaningful memories for the whole family while attending a desert exploration program about native plants and animals. These programs are designed for families with children ages 5 to 12, although children 17 and under are welcome. Prices listed include one child and one adult.

Girl Scouts
The Girl Scout Desert Discovery Program creates a fun and memorable experience for Girl Scouts as they learn about life in the desert. These event-style programs welcome all Girl Scout levels along with leaders, parents and family members. Pre-registration is required for all attending.

Most brain development in children happens in the first eight years, and much of it in the first three. Nature education programs at the Garden are a fantastic way to promote your child's development.

Aquatic Adventures

Campers will become aquatic ecologists and use real scientific methods to study the desert's threatened wetlands and the unique plants and animals that can be found there.

The science doesn't have to end! Extended Camp offers additional activities through the afternoon. Register for a full week of Extended Camp by Feb. 12 and receive a discount. Members: $68/week | General Public: $85/week. Look for the add-on option as you complete your Spring Break Camp registration.

Teens in the Garden
TEENS IN THE GARDEN (TIG) PROGRAM
Know any teens 13 to 18 years old who are interested in a fun and interactive plant-science adventure? Let them know about this priceless opportunity to gain experience and work closely with Garden staff and volunteers. During monthly gatherings throughout the school year teens will learn first-hand what careers and experiences await them at botanical gardens. With the help of experienced plant biologists, the teen team will contribute to an international scientific database - giving them skills and experiences needed for college and beyond.

Teens in the Garden Program is a year-long program that focuses on citizen science, volunteer projects, horticulture, and research at the Desert Botanical Garden.
