Early Childhood Programs
Most brain development in children happens in the first eight years, and much of it in the first three. Nature education programs at the Garden are a fantastic way to promote your child's development. Registration includes one caregiver and one child.

For questions on registering children between the ages of 30-36 months, please contact Lauren Marks, Program Development Manager - Children & Family, at 480-481-8123.

Caregivers and children ages 6-30 months discover firsthand how sensory-based experiences in nature can guide early childhood development, and strengthen bonds with each other and with the Sonoran Desert.

Class activities vary according to age and development milestones. For ages 6-18 months or those who are sitters and crawlers, we recommend the 9:30-10:30 a.m. class. For ages 18-30 months or those who are strong walkers, we recommend the 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m. class.
