Art

Be inspired by your imagination and release your creativity by attending art classes at the Garden. Classes are intended to foster your artistic visions and give you the skills to bring them to life. Each class is designed to be hands-on with individualized instruction. The Garden offers programs in mosaic, gourd art, drawing and painting, bonsai, and jewelry making.

Felted Eggs

Date Palm Gourd Vessel

The date palm's fruit can be lashed onto the rim of a gourd, added as a couching detail to the body of a gourd, or woven through a cut out portion to create a basket weave pattern. In this workshop you will have the opportunity to learn all three techniques on one gourd. Desert pods will be added to create a unique focal point.
