The Garden is committed to offering quality education programs for schools and teachers, please stay tuned for new ways to bring the Garden into your classroom. Self-Guided field trips for educational groups are still available on a limited basis.

As a Desert Landscape School credential holder, you are invited to attend the inaugural event of the Tancer Distinguished Speaker Series! This event brings Lattie Coor, past president of Arizona State University, to talk about lifelong learning and the merits and opportunities of learning new skills throughout your career. Refreshments will be served and this event is also an opportunity to connect with other credential holders. We look forward to seeing you at the Desert Botanical Garden for this event!

Teens in the Garden
During monthly gatherings throughout the school year, teens will learn first-hand what careers and experiences await them at botanical gardens and similar institutions.

Applications are required to be submitted and accepted prior to registration.

Teens in the Garden is a year-long program that focuses on monthly volunteer service learning projects, career building opportunities, and exploring nature and fun with science.

Registration fee: $50 per year.

Meeting dates: Third Saturdays of the month during the school year either virtually or in-person
