The Garden is committed to offering quality education programs for schools and teachers, please stay tuned for new ways to bring the Garden into your classroom. Self-Guided field trips for educational groups are still available on a limited basis.

The Garden offers fun and life-enriching experiences for adults. Get in touch with nature and the desert through photography, culinary, wellness and landscaping experiences. Dig in to classes onsite at the Garden and new this season at off-site venues throughout the Valley.
Gain skills and confidence to get the job done in all aspects of desert landscaping, plus earn a credential after you successfully complete all the certificate programs.
Families engage in hands-on, nature-based experiences in a fun and safe environment, and teachers can participate in professional development opportunities.
Teens in the Garden
During monthly gatherings throughout the school year, teens will learn first-hand what careers and experiences await them at botanical gardens and similar institutions.

Applications are required to be submitted and accepted prior to registration.

Teens in the Garden is a year-long program that focuses on monthly volunteer service learning projects, career building opportunities, and exploring nature and fun with science.

Registration fee: $50 per year.

Meeting dates: Third Saturdays of the month during the school year either virtually or in-person

In-Person:
Oct. 23, Dec 18, Feb 19, April 16*
*Dates are subject to change to virtual

Virtual:
Nov. 20, Jan 15, March 19, May 21
